This is a interesting story i came upon today. Iraq's Interior Ministry said it had formed a special unit to monitor news coverage and vowed to take legal action against journalists who failed to correct stories the ministry deemed to be incorrect. The sineq in me thinks that they are working closely with the US army to make sure they can censure or have some control over the reports of fatalities in Iraq.

3 December 2006 at 05:54:00 GMT-8The West promotes Freedom of Speech for its citizens, but does not extend this same right to Iraq, a disaster of their creation. Afterall Iraqi 'government' not in charge, they are just Neocon puppets.
